Thank you Peter

Although many of you will have heard already that Peter has retired from the Phantoms? committee, this is official confirmation of that fact. Peter chose to stand down from the committee because he couldn?t give it his full attention due to changing shift patterns at work that make it difficult for him to attend training on a Saturday night. Although his decision to retire didn?t come as any surprise to some of the committee members, it was still a huge
shock when he announced his retirement. Peter will still remain a member of the Phantoms and will continue to train as and when possible.
The committee on behalf of all Phantoms members would like to thank Peter for all the work that he did for the club. What started as a job defined as club secretary and primarily involved the registration of players with the EIHA soon mushroomed. It eventually involved banking,
as co-signatory for the club account, registration, medical records, statistics, attendance records, for game qualification, AGM organisation, together with the mid-sessional meeting, committee minutes, AGM minutes, annual trophy night certificates, filing and storage of all Phantoms? paperwork and the running of the club internet Phorum. A very hard act to follow!
Peter was a founder member of the Phantoms and also belonged to its forerunner. He will be sadly missed on the committee for his level-headed approach to dealing with problems and
difficulties. The committee, on behalf of all Phantoms, would like to wish Peter a stress free retirement from any official duties and look forward to seeing him on a Saturday night at training when work commitments permit.
